Sign Up For Memory Screening In Cortlandt Manor

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- The Alzheimer's Foundation of America is planning National Memory Screening Week so free, confidential memory screenings are being offered Thursday, Nov. 5, by appointment at Fieldhome's adult day care center, 2300 Catherine St., in Cortlandt Manor.

Memory screenings are recommended for anyone who wants to see how their memory is now, for future comparisons, is concerned about memory loss, and experiencing warning signs of dementia or believes they are at risk due to a family history of dementia.

The screening conducted by a health professional will take 5 to 10 minutes and consists of a series of questions.
