To kick off the event on Sept. 4, the fair will feature an evening of square dancing with full audience participation, beginning at 6:45 p.m.
Misty Creek, a six-piece country-rock cover band from Dutchess County, will take the stage on Friday, Sept. 5, at 5 p.m., followed by the Lost Soulz Band, a multivocalist classic rock cover band at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday afternoon, Sept. 6, Annie and The Natural Wonder Band will return to the Grange Fair to perform a special matinee performance at 12:30 p.m.
Unfunded Mandate, a classic rock/pop cover band composed entirely of Lakeland school district staff led by George Stone, the Lakeland superintendent of achools, kick off Saturday evening’s performances at 4:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. local favorite Chain of Fools, a Yorktown band that plays Motown, R&B and funk from the '60s to the '80s, will perform.
On Sunday afternoon, Yorktown residents Mike and Lori Barr will debut at 12:30 p.m. with an acoustic guitar and vocals set, followed by select local teen musicians from the Yorktown Teen Center’s First Friday Performers series under the auspices of the Justin Veatch Foundation.
Taking the stage last on Sunday at 4:30 p.m., will be Andrea & The Armenian Rug Riders, a Westchester County band, making their Grange Fair debut..
“The Yorktown Grange Fair is proud to continue its tradition in recent years of showcasing talented local musicians live on our stage,” said Heidi Bornemann, entertainment director of the fair.
