Yorktown Residents Can Help On Reservoir Cleanup Day

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Residents can join the New York City Department of Environmental Protection in helping to keep the areas rivers and reservoirs clean for all during the annual International Coastal Cleanup day on Sunday.

Residents are invited to join the reservoir cleanup from 1 to 3 p.m. at several locations.

The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the following reservoirs: Cannonsville, Ashokan, Neversink, Rondout, Pepacton, Kensico, Muscoot, New Croton and Lake Gleneida. 

All of the cleaning gear will be provided, children are welcome to take part in the clean-up.
