Showtime's 'Billions' Films In Westchester

The "Billions" stars are out for another season and they're shooting all over Westchester and Rockland counties, according to social media accounts.

White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach got a visit at City Hall, which was used as the setting for some of Season 2 of the Showtime series, according to the Roach's Twitter feed. The mayor's office was used for scenes as well.

Sparky's Diner in Garnerville also served as a backdrop; it was in the series' premiere in January. Sparky's was closed Sunday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. until Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 6 a.m. for shooting. Locals were used as background actors, according to Facebook.

Season 1 shot many of its locations in Orangeburg, as well as in Haverstraw, Yonkers, Rye, North Salem, Bedford, Yorktown Heights and Sleepy Hollow.

The show features fictional hedge fund Axe Capital in Westport, Conn. Billions' creator and executive producer David Levien is from Greenwich.
