Troopers were dispatched to a domestic incident that occurred in the parking area of Mavis Discount Tire, police said. Investigation revealed that Vincent M. McMorrow was arguing with a female party and was approached by several Good Samaritans, concerned for her welfare, according to police.
McMorrow menaced one of the Samaritans with a broken beer bottle before police arrived on scene and actively resisted arrest while responding troopers placed him in custody, according to police. While at the station being interviewed, the defendant continued to act aggressive and kicked a hole in the wall causing damage, police said. McMorrow was arraigned before the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
