Arthur H. Boyington, 71, Longtime Yorktown Resident

YORKTOWN, N.Y. — Longtime Yorktown resident Arthur H. Boyington Jr., died Tuesday, May 3. He was 71.

Born Oct. 17, 1944, he was the son of the late Arthur H. & Marion (Silleck) Boyington. 

Boyington served in the U.S. Army from 1968-70 and worked as a pressmen at the local PennySaver in Yorktown for the past 46 years. 

He is survived by his sisters, Myra Grant, Henrietta 'Peg' Neurauter and Laura Boyington and his brother, Joseph Shaw. He also is survived by four nieces, two nephews, 12 great-nephews, four great-nieces and a great-great-nephew. 

He was predeceased by his sister, Marion Martin. 

Family and friends will gather from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, 313 N. James St., in Peekskill, where a memorial service will be conducted at noon, followed by interment in Amawalk Hills Cemetery.
