The man’s arrest came about when a patrol officer observed a white Dodge Ram, which allegedly started unsafely, traveling eastbound on East Main Street on Saturday, about 7:05 p.m., according to police.

The vehicle was stopped, but the driver, identified as Dylan J. Quinn, allegedly failed to exhibit his driver’s license; a computer check at the scene revealed that Quinn’s license was allegedly suspended for failure to pay a fine, police said.

Quinn was arrested at the scene and taken to Police Headquarters, according to officials.

The suspect has been charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, an unclassified misdemeanor, along with making an unsafe start and failure to exhibit his driver’s license, both traffic violations, police said.

Following processing, Quinn was issued a traffic summons and released on $100 bail, according to police.

He is scheduled to answer the charges against him in Yorktown Court on Tuesday, Nov. 15, police said.
