YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A Lake Peekskill woman accused of stealing from the Macy’s store at the Jefferson Valley Mall is facing a petty larceny charge, according to police.
Camelia J. Ferraro was arrested on Dec. 23 after store security accused her of stealing $120 from two store registers about a week earlier, according to Yorktown police, who said the 20-year-old store employee turned herself in after Macy's security reported the alleged theft to authorities.
Ferraro was ticketed and released without bail, according to police. She is to appear in Yorktown Town Court at 6 p.m. on Jan. 24 to answer to the charge.
