YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Connecticut man who had been wanted on drug possession charges surrendered to authorities last week, Yorktown police said.
Ethan S. Gaudet, 21, of Somers, Conn., was supposed to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, March 7, to answer charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, police said.
When he failed to show, the judge issued a warrant for his arrest, police said.
Police said that Gaudet turned himself in on Thursday, March 9.
Bail was set a $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond, which Gaudet was unable to make. He was turned over to the custody of the Westchester Department of Corrections.
Gaudet is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, March 14.
