COLONIE, N.Y. A Brooklyn Supreme Court justice and Yorktown resident was arrested Wednesday on a DWI charge, according to the New York State Police.
Carl J. Landicino, 47, of Yorktown, a Supreme Court justice for the Second Judicial District, was seen by state troopers driving aggressively in the Albany suburb of Colonie and was stopped about 4:06 p.m. on southbound Interstate 87, police said.
Troopers noticed signs of impairment and asked Landicino to submit to a field sobriety test, which police said he failed. Landicino then refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of his blood. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and multiple vehicle and traffic charges, according to police.
Landicino was arraigned in the Village of Menands and released. He isdue back in Colonie town court on October 29.
