The first warrant stemmed from a case in which the defendant, identified as Sharon F. Godwin, allegedly failed to make a scheduled court appearance in reference to a past bail-jumping arrest, according to police.

The second warrant, for violation of probation, was issued after Godwin allegedly failed to comply with the terms of her probation in reference to the original charge of third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, police said.

The warrants, which were both issued on Sept. 13, were executed on Godwin in New York City Criminal Court, 314 W. 54th St., New York City, where Godwin was being held on unrelated charges on Friday, about 1 p.m., according to police.

Godwin was transported to Yorktown police headquarters and processed; after her arraignment, she was remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail, police said.

The defendant is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court to answer the warrants on Tuesday, according to police.
