The arrest came about when police responded to the area of East Main Street in Mohegan Lake when an erratic vehicle was reported about 6:25 p.m. Monday, police said.
Officers located the vehicle in the parking lot of 1296 E. Main St. and conducted a traffic stop, police said.
The suspect, identified as Lisa H. Pappas, had allegedly been operating the vehicle while intoxicated, police said.
Pappas was arrested and transported to Yorktown police headquarters; she has been charged with DWI and DWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more, both unclassified misdemeanors, police said.
Pappas was processed and released on her own recognizance to a responsible party, police said.
She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Oct. 22, police said.
