YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A Yorktown man has been accused of sending threatening text messages and breaking into a former acquaintance’s house in the Lake Peekskill section of Purtnam Valley, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.

Once inside the house around 10:30 a.m. on July 21, Quincy Fernandez, 30, pushed her 5-year-old son and pushed her onto her bed, police said. He reportedly then left the premises.

Fernandez was arrested on July 22 and charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.

He was held at the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail pending a future court appearance, police said.
