A 57-year-old Northern Westchester man was arrested and charged Wednesday after he falsely reported he never received a $9,500 guitar, Yorktown Police said.
Stephen Sacher was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E Felony.
Sacher initially told police he ordered Gold Leaf Telecaster Guitar over the Internet and never received it. Police investigated and discovered Sacher received the guitar in the mail via UPS and reported to the seller he never received it.
Sacher turned himself in and was released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on Jan. 16.
