Yorktown Residents Invited To Have Coffee With Police Officers

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown residents will have a chance to have a cup of coffee with a cop on Friday, Oct. 7, when the department holds its first Coffee With A Cop Day, according to the Yorktown Police.

The event, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at JV Hot Bagels, 3565 Lee Road, Jefferson Valley, will include a chance to meet the Yorktown Police Chief Robert Noble.

"Looking forward to having an agenda free conservation with our local residents," Noble said.

Held on National Coffee With A Cop Day, residents will be treated to small-sized coffees when they mention that they are attending to meet with Yorktown Police Officers, courtesy of JV Hot Bagels and Joseph P. Lucia & Associates. 

The nationwide event is held to provide residents an avenue to get to know their local police officers and to ask questions without fear of reprisal.
