YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Jeannette Hill, a 48-year-old Yorktown resident, is facing multiple charges after she threatened a man with a metal letter opener on Sunday, Dec. 28, according to Yorktown police.

Hill has been charged with menacing in the second degree, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and resisting arrest after a domestic dispute.

Police said they responded to a call to report a past incident of a domestic dispute. When responding, officers found Hill argumentative and shouting obscenities to police and she allegedly shoved a police officer, police said.

Hill was placed under arrest and resisted the officers attempt to put her in handcuffs, police said. Investigation also revealed that Hill threatened a male resident with a metal letter opener at 6 p.m.

Following processing, Hill was arraigned and served a temporary order of protection and released on her own recognizance. Hill is scheduled to answer the charges on Jan. 8 at 6 p.m.
