Tarrytown Trustee Tom Basher Retires After 24 Years Of Service

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Tarrytown trustee Tom Basher is retiring after 24 years of service to the Tarrytown community.

Mayor Drew Fixell, at a public hearing, thanked Basher for his years of service. 

This was Basher's last meeting as he moves onto retirement. He elected not to run again in March when his term was up. 

The footbridge at Patriot's Park will be named in Basher's honor.
