A popular restaurant in Western Massachusetts will hold its final dinner service after nearly 50 years in business. Berkshire County staple The Old Mill, located in Egremont at 53 Main Street, will permanently close in early June 2024, owner Terry Moore announced on its website. “In early June, after 46 glorious years, the Old Mill will close its doors. A 30-year-old woman has been identified as the victim of a wrong-way driver fatal crash on I-84 in the Hudson Valley. New Haven Officer Injured By ATV, Police Say
A Connecticut police officer's leg was seriously injured after an ATV allegedly hit him. The incident occurred in New Haven on Sunday, April 7, in the area of Ferry and Peck Streets. According to Officer Christian Bruckhart of the New Haven Police, the officer was struck and his leg seriously injured while attempting to stop a group of ATVs illegally riding through the city. A man accused of domestic violence and strangulation in Massachusetts was caught in Connecticut when the cops were called on him for a different reason. The Tolland County incident occurred in the town of Stafford on Friday, April 5, according to Connecticut State Police. A Northern Westchester man has been accused of driving drunk in Fairfield County after police say he crossed the double-yellow line several times. At about 9 p.m. Saturday, April 6, an officer on routine patrol in New Canaan observed the vehicle traveling north on New Norwalk Road.
