Woman Hit, Killed On Busy Hamden Roadway A woman struck on a busy Connecticut roadway who was expected to survive died an hour after the crash. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 11 p.m., Friday, May 3, at 2320 Dixwell Ave., in Hamden.  According to Lt. Raymond Quinn of the Hamden Police, the victim was transported to the hospital, and the initial report was that the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.  Quinn said the hospital notified police at 11:50 p.m. that the woman had died. Stamford Man Found Dead Inside Burned Home A man was found dead inside his home after a fire in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out in Stamford around 6:55 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at 48 Powel Place.  According to Stamford Police Capt.
