A fatal fire that left three dead in Harford County is now being investigated as a triple homicide, according to the Aberdeen Police Department. Aberdeen Police Capt. Will Reiber said on Monday afternoon that the circumstances surrounding the early-morning fire were "highly suspicious," and now the department has launched a homicide investigation into the incident. Fatal Fire Aberdeen Roosevelt Avenue
Three people perished in an early-morning Aberdeen fire Monday, April 15, officials confirmed. Crews responded to the scene on the unit block of Roosevelt Avenue around 5:30 a.m., where smoke was billowing from the second floor of an apartment, firefighters said. Crews found three victims, who were all pronounced dead on the scene. The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal and Aberdeen Police are remaining on scene for investigative purposes. Please avoid the area, it is still a very active crime scene and heavy police presence in the area.

New I-695 Inner Loop Closure Point To Take Effect Monday: Maryland Transportation Authority
With the entire East Coast continuing to adjust to the collapse of the Key Bridge collapse in Maryland, the state's Transportation Authority announced new closures and alternatives for motorists on I-695. Beginning on Monday, April 15, there will be a new closure point in effect on the Inner Loop. A soldier was found dead Wednesday, April 10 at a Fort Meade barrack in Anne Arundel County, according to officials.
