Meet CNN's Alisyn Camerota, Jersey Shore Native, In Bergen County
CNN's Alisyn Camerota is ready to tell her own story.
Camerota, a native of Shrewsbury and two-time Emmy winner, is signing copies of her new memoir "Combat Love: A Story of Leaving, Longing, and Searching for Home" at Books and Greetings in Northvale in Sunday, May 5 at 1 p.m.
In the book, Camerota talks about growing up on the Jersey Shore, leaving home at 16, and discovering punk rock, visiting clubs like CBGB and Max's Kansas City, coupled with all the sex and drugs 1980s New Jersey had to offer, according to a synopsis. Winning $1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In NJ
Someone in New Jersey won big bucks in the Saturday, April 27 Powerball drawing.
According to the Powerball website, a player in the Garden State won the $1 million prize, along with someone in Georgia, in the Saturday, April 27 Powerball drawing.
The winners matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were 9, 30, 53, 55, and 62. The red Power Ball drawn was 23.
Lottery officials are expected to announce where the tickets were sold this week.
The jackpot rolls to $164 million in the next drawing, held on Monday, April 29.
