Truck Bursts Into Flames Near Route 287 Multiple fire departments descended on Somerset County on Friday, May 3, after a tractor trailer caught fire, sending plumes of smoke into the sky. Firefighters responded to Union Avenue near Route 287 in Finderne and were able to extinguish the tractor trailer fire along with three additional cars on the trailer, the Finderne Fire Department said on Facebook.
