Suffern Police Car Hit By Drunken Driver, Police Say
SUFFERN, N.Y. – A Suffern police car was hit by a drunken driver earlier this week, police said.
The accident happened around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night in front of police headquarters, police said.
An officer was in the middle of a traffic stop and the car was hit just after he re-entered the car, police said. He got out of the car and arrested the driver.
The driver, 22-year old Samuel Holzberg of Elmwood Park, N.J., refused to submit to a Breathalyzer test and was driving with a suspended license in New York, police said.

Merritt Bruce Levine, 70, Of Monsey
MONSEY, N.Y. – Merritt Bruce Levine, of Monsey, died Tuesday, June 28 at his home, surrounded by family. He was 70.
Levine was born Sept. 26, 1945 in Brooklyn.

Renee Milstein, 102, Of Monsey
MONSEY, N.Y. – Renee Milstein, of Monsey, died Wednesday, June 29 in New City. She was 102.
Milstein was born March 15, 1914 in Beilsk, Poland.
